Sounds kinda just like how I decided to go to ireland. I have a friend who lives there way out in the sticks and I asked if he would want to hang. A few days later I packed a backpack and flew to ireland after work. It was the longest commute I ever had but it was a fun one. Definitely want to go back at some point.
